The Roland Atelier AT-70 is the perfect home orchurch organ with hundreds of musical options. Our church has the exact same organ. We drove to South Carolina from Tennessee to get this one to serve as a back up forparts when we learned our organ was in need of repair; however, our organ subsequently was completely restored without the need totake a screw from this unit.
However,when we had this unit evaluated, it too required a completerestoration and has had the electronic boards repaired: replacingcircuits, transistors, capacitors, etc. through Everything Organs and Piano of Knoxville, TN. The unit comes with a threemonth warranty on the repairs just performed (with some restrictions). Of course we recommendpurchasing a three year extended warranty through asadded protection.
Dueto it\'s size and weight, it is being sold with a “Local Pick UpOnly”. We believe at this price, the buyer can afford todrive or have it picked up for several hundred miles and still savebig money! It is currently sitting on a padded piano dolly (not included).
Thesemodels are unbelievable, push a button and you have true pianosound, push another button and it sounds like a cathedral pipeorgan, a few more and it is a theater organ, a woodwind section, a few others and it isan orchestra with voices or percussion...the voices and sounds seem endless. While I myself do not play thekeyboard, I am willing to arrange a time for you to call and I willput disks in and change the sounds for you over the phone, just emailyour request and, if I am convinced you are a serious buyer, we willset up a time.
Themodel comes with a disk system capable of recording your work andreplaying it later. It is possible to record specific music for various church seasons such as Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter,Pentecost, etc. or you can plan the music for different types ofservices, such as traditional, modern, kids, communion, novena, etc..If the keyboardist is stuck in traffic, so what, all you need is someone who canpunch the “play” and “stop” buttons and you\'re set to go.
Meeting the original owners from South Carolina, the aged couple in their eighties demonstrated such a profound love for this instrument, it was touching that they wanted to be sure it was to be care for in the future. It has a matching bench andall of the original accessories...even the box the paperwork, books anditems came in is included. There is a VCR tape and several disks (this package I\'m sure was worth several hundred dollars separately).
I have personally priced these same organs online as high as $6,000.00 (without the Roland Kit) in used condition. The original owners of this organ told me these sold originally between $12,000and $18,000 depending on where you bought it and who you knew. Our parish purchased ours used for $3000 about five years ago and just had to do a major restoration, as we have done on this one. The price, in my opinion, is a real steal. We love our Roland Atelier AT-70 and are confident you will lovethis one too. Originally listed at $2,650.
