This sale is for a rare, early 1920\'s vintage, THE ROYAL DOLL MFG. CO., \"Pigtail Sue\", in its original Box. The 15\" tall composition doll is in VF condition with a replacement dress but with original shoes and stockings. The original pink dress has been replaced with a white wedding dress which was made by the original owner from parts of her own wedding dress. It was expertly done in white satin and lace and is clean, having been kept in the box with tissue wrapping. The box has its label with the attributes of the doll notated and the serial numbers, which are No.77...16. The box top has torn corners but no missing pieces.The doll has perfectly working sleep eyes, ball joints and the original implanted mohair is in NM condition. Her pigtails have been put up with bobby pins. I didn\'t undo this because I thought it best to offer the doll in as-found condition.
