You\'re offerding on a Royal \"Model B\" portable typewriter - serial number 794862 - circa 1939 vintage. Typewriter is in very good, original unrestored condition - It\'s mostly a shiny black lacquer surface with minimal scratch wear - some of the vertical surfaces are a textural black. Some detailed cleaning and servicing would probably benefit this piece if you want to use it, but as a display piece it has a great out-of-the-box look. The chrome branding on the paper table is still bright and lustrous, and the decal branding on the back side is still clean and unscratched. All the keys work with powerful strike, and as a whole everything still seems to function perfectly - the ribbon even seems to still be inked for typing. Black keys with white text are clean and appealing. Rubber or composite feet are still attached and in good condition.
Complete including the case - although note that there is no key for the locks - as well as the instruction manual and the original guarantee card. Case has a little bit of scuff wear, but it is solid and presentable. Overall a great piece as is, or could probably be serviced into a top-of-the line example.
