SCARCE MARBLES MSA, DALL DEWEESE KNIFE, c. 1910-1911,
6 7/8” DALL DEWEESE HUNTING SKINNING KNIFE, 3 7/8” flat ground blade, slightly clip, with some light to medium pitting and some slight blade loss, with some original polish. Pretty slab stag scales, fastened with four brass pins, over a fully exposed straight tang. This is the second model with the notched back, which means that the back is file worked for a thumb rest.
Replacement non-original sheath, not sure of the date of replacement, but the sheath may be period.

KNIFE CONDITION INFORMATION
We rate the condition of our knives on the following scale.
PRISTINE: Knife is mint. In addition, it sells itself in a powerful way.
MINT: Knife is the same as it was when it was produced. May have a minor crack in a handle, or a freckle on the blade, but absolutely no evidence of use or sharpening.
NEAR MINT: Knife is nearly mint. Any deviation from mint is minor. If the knife has been expertly cleaned, it must appear as mint, full blades, no evidence of sharpening or use.
EXCELLENT: Knife is in excellent condition. Handles are in fine shape. Blades snap strong. Blades show only slight wear, or discoloration. Unless otherwise stated blades and handles are original.
VERY GOOD: Knife is in very good condition. Blades may show up to 10% wear. Blades are original (unless otherwise stated), but may not snap. Handles are original (unless otherwise stated) but may show damage. Blades or back springs may be pitted.
PLUS OR MINUS (+ OR -): This may be used to describe a knife that may fall between the above categories.
We also publish a monthly knife mail order catalog (1-800-611-8849). At times our knife items are listed on and in a catalog at the same time. We reserve the right to sell any item out of our catalog 12 hours prior the end of an sale.
PAYMENT SHALL BE MADE WITHIN 3 DAYS OF THE SALE DATE UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE ACCEPTABLE TO SELLER.
IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 3 DAYS THE ITEM TRANSACTION WILL BE CANCELED THE ITEM WILL BE RELISTED.

All items are shipped via USPS priority mail or first class mail.
Multiple sales can be shipped together to save on shipping fees!
PRIORITY MAIL – $6.00
Insurance is included. We insure ALL U.S. packages through our company. This applies to all packages damaged or lost (not delivered) in transit. Delivery confirmation is included in shipping cost.
Items will be shipped in 2-3 business days after receiving payment. In most cases items ship within 24 hours. If there is a Holiday please allow one extra day.
