Sansui 1000A STEREO Receiver
RELISTED DUE TO CATEGORY TYPE ERROR

Very nice and fully working Sansui 1000A receiver. It had been recapped using good quality
capacitors - Orange drops by Cornell Dubillier , Vishay/Sprague (Atom) and Nichicon (in phono pre-apm section) .All contacts had been cleaned with D5/F5 Deoxit . 10 Ohm resistors had been added to each output tube (Cathode-ground) for easier biasing. Output tubes are old - two original Japanese and two US made. BIAS had been adjusted according to manual.
But I\'m sure it\'s a good idea to put new output tubes and re-adjust the bias for fresh new start.
The receiver is ready to use and sounds great !! AM and FM work perfect.
Fuse type bulbs had been replaced with correct replacements. All lights work.
It comes with original operations/ service manual and other prints.

The face plate is in VG condition. The amp is super clean - see pics.

All inputs work, no scratchy pots or switches, no intermittance !
Please keep in mind - Sansui 1000A Receivers are running hot and need adequate
cooling.

UPDATE ! While running unit, FM section went dead... I\'m looking to find what caused it - already found two dead caps in FM-MPX board.
If I don\'t find and fix the the case toward the end of sale - I\'ll cancel and relist accordingly. Sorry about this
