Sansui AU-717, AU-517, AU-417, AU-719, AU-6600, AU-6900, AU-7700, AU-7900. Please do not be fooled! there are a lot of units listed as serviced and professionally restored the case might of just been polished and maybe the potentiometers cleaned, electrolytic capacitors have a life of about 35 years any 70\'s or before and even 80\'s unit have capacitors that could go bad at any time if you are going to spend money on a older unit make sure all the electrolytic capacitors have been replaced and output transistors at least have been replaced or you could be wasting your money and make sure it has some sort of warranty!! Restoration and Service that replaces all electrolytic capacitors and a lot more! This listing is not selling a AU-717 or AU-517 it is selling a restoration for your Sansui AU-717 517 and 719 models and others listed.
Here is what would be done it wouldget all new electrolytic capacitors including the main filter caps, new output and input transistors and heat sink material I also move 2 transistors on the 2 main amp boards that get very hot and damage the capacitor above them, I also move and replace, with 3 watt resistors, two 2 watt resistors from those same amp boards that also get very and also damage the capacitors above them this fix solves that main problem that these amps had!, new diodes on main board and where ever else needed, all resistors checked for value and replaced if necessary, all controls cleaned, the bias set to factory settings and the unit cleaned and polished and then returned to you plus it would have a 3 month warranty. You will have to box up the unit and pay for the shipping to send it to me so please pack it extremely well and insure it I pay for the return shipping this service takes about 2 weeks.
