This unit has been fully restored with the most expensive parts available following the guidelines of one of the best audio gurus in the US.

The new power supply capacitors are Nichicon KG Gold tops. These alone are $$$. All of the glue has been cleaned off of the circuitboard. There is no better restoration. Don\'t be fooled, not all restorations are equal. Many only do a FRACTION of the restoration of this unit went through, they use cheaper parts. Often times they don\'t replace the fuseistors, which MUST be replaced.

Is this worth it? You\'re darn right it is. This is one of the best integrated amps ever made. You would essentially be getting a brand-new one. These go for 600$ unrestored when shipping is factored in. I would personally not have one shipped to me as these beasts are so heavy that the chance of damage is too high.

Sound characteristics are powerful, clean, articulate, and a lot of headroom that makes it sound like more than 85 watts. This may be used as a preamp, power amp, or an integrated. Would mate well with JBL.

The amp will possibly outlive you and could probably survive an atomic blast. It is psychologically hard to get rid of this, but I\'m into tube amps now and this needs to go.
