This is a very rare 1965 Japanese made Sansui Stereophonic SM320-M Tube Amp Receiver. Purchased in Germany by a US Serviceman. Being sold"ASIS."
This unit is semi-functional, it lights up, and all inputs work, including Phono and AUX. Tested with Harmon-Kardon turntable and a CD player. Stereo seems to be intermittent, although both speakers work back and forth with the "Reverse" stereo feature on the speaker selection knob. Also, neither the AM, or FM Tuners are working. The built in FM antenea was broken at the mounting point, and I have repaired it, see picture 24.
I have cleaned the inside, it was totally different than cleaning a 1970\'s Receiver. All tubes have been tested, all passed, so any issues with this unit only playing one channel, and the Tunersmust lie elsewhere. Again, when I first fired it up today I briefly had 2 channel stereo for a a minute or so, then cut out. I know this is a great collectible 1960\'s Receiver, and I hope a potential buyer can rectify the technical issues.
