This sale is for a vintage SBE-34 4-band SSB amateur transceiver. I haven\'t gotten around to working on this one, so maybe it can become your winter project! Included is a transceiver that appears to be complete with all 3 tubes (the receiver is all solid state), a Collins Mechanical Filter, crystals, the metal cabinet, and an AC power cord. The microphone is not included. A spare chassis with some parts missing that may be useful for parts and a copy of the service manual are also included (see the pictures above). When plugged in, audio hiss was heard from the unit but no signals were received. If keyed, the transmit relay operated. No further testing was done and this unit is being sold in as-is \"for parts or not working\" condition, so please contact me if you have any questions. This SSB transceiver was a very compact design that included both mobile DC and AC power supplies onboard. Use it for parts for your existing SBE transceiver or restore it to operation!
