I am a shift worker with little time off who\'s schedule can not be changed so you will need to make your schedule match mine for the pickup because mine cant be changed . Here is a 1966 Chevy Nova 327/ 350 HP L79 engine for rebuilding . This is a real L79 ZI block which is standard bore . This was from an estate I bought out recently . I sorted out all the parts & put everything I has for this motor with it . I have not had any of the parts checked out other than looking them over visually & micing the bores & crank journals . I do not see any obvious signs of damage however all proper machine work & reconditioning will be required .
Includes the ultra hard to find 66 Nova 327 block. Standard bore . Cylinders have no ridge any look like they were recently honed but that doesnt mean they are still true . They will still need to be checked . Pad stamp is F0426ZI . Vin stamp is 6W178310 . Block date is D216 . Casting 3791362 .
Intake looks unmolested # 3890490 but does have some erosion in theblankports in the rear of the intake , but the gasket surfaces still look ok
Finned harmonic balancer
8 rods & pistons...... figure on buying new pistons because these I\'m sure are junk from improper storage & may be under sized after the block is machined
4577 crank , Std / Std
Orig oil pump & pickup tube & dip stick
Orig oil pan has a few dents
461 cylinder heads dated C226 & C236 . These heads are 1.94\'s and will need to be opened up to 2.02\'s to be proper for this engine . They are the closest dated castings I had to the block so I put them with it rather than not putting any with it at all .
All parts will need to be machined or reconditioned accordingly.
