Listed is a used Schwinn Rocket 88 full suspension mountain bike. It has been long owned by a professional bike technician, and has been well maintained. The whole bike just got a tune up. The bike is beautifully built out, and is a great, comfortable, competent all day trail bike. The tires were new this season, and have only a couple of trail days on them. I just popped some new Kool Stop pads on both the front and rear brakes. The Selle Italia saddle is comfortable, and compliments the paint nicely. The seat tube measures 18\", the effective top tube measures 22\".The bike has been custom built out with an XT/XTR group, with a Race Face cockpit, seatpost, and crankset. The paint is in nice shape, with the typical cable rub and chain slap. However, the paint is flaked off where a sticker used to sit behind the seat tube (pictured). No aluminum corrosion has been detected in this spot. The paint has also begun to flake off of the rear hub of the Mavic CrossRoc. The pedals are not included in the sale.The only thing out of order on the bike is the Manitou XVert fork: it has lost a footnut bolt on one side, and the fork oil has leaked out. It still compresses fine and functions like normal, but tops out and needs a service and a new footnote bolt. I was planning on refurbishing this fork, but instead bought a new bike. Fancy that. The service manual for the fork can be found on Manitou\'s service page. \'s policy prohibits links from being posted in listings, but message me for the URL if you need to. The fork can be rebuilt, or replaced.
