For sale is agood working stereo FMreceiver, Scott 340B.

This unit is comparable to the Fisher 500C in performance and sounding, but at a fraction of the Fisher\'s price.

This unit is equipped withhighly rated tubes, including the good sounding 7591 (or 7591A) outputtubes.

The FM section is particularily sensitive, thanks to the Scott\'s patented design. The phono and other imputs all have quiet and pleasing sounding, the prime of the unit, if you are playing black vinyl discs.

This is a turn-key project, you don\'t need to spend any money to upgrade the tubes for years to come. One of the 7591 tubes has a chipped section on the bakelite base (see photo). But it has no effect on the performance of the tube.

All the inputs are checked and monitored with hi tech equipment. All the lights work.

The cosmetic condition isgood (see photos), considering the unit has been around for over half a century. No sleeve (or canbinet).

All the under-the-chassis components are original and unmolested, except one or two locations perhaps, where new partshave been put in to bring the spec up-to-date.

This is a heavy unit, the gross weight is about45 Lbs. The shipping cost reflects that.
