I own a instrument repair shop and have this wonderful Selmer Special Wood clarinet. It is for the intermediate player. The wood is in great shape with no cracks or splits. I have replaced a number of pads and I will replace the tenan corks before it is shipped. The Selmer Signet special was made for the intermediate or Advanced player. It has a beautiful sound and a tone that sounds as good as a Top Model professional instrument. It comes with the classic case which is in good shape. There is no mouthpiece included. This would be a great clarinet for concert band or jazz band and you could keep the resin plastic clarinet for marching band.
