Set of Four Antique Renaissance Style Tooled Leather Chairs

From our research it appears these are from the late 1700s or 1800s.

Carved intricate wood scroll work with hand tooled leatherseats and backrest.

Exquisite lion headdetail on both the leather backrest and seats, and wood chair tops. Beautiful decorative tacks, all intact. Purchased from a celebrity estate sale, and havebeen in climate controlled storage for 35 years, and are well-preserved.

This is a one of a kind set, for collectors or those who love the quality and workmanship of a bygone era.

They are very sturdy, and can be used asdining chairs.

A unique feature of this set is the child’s chair, whichmatches the other three but in a smaller size.

Please keep in mind these are vintage chairs. The leather isin its original condition, and shows some signs of wear, but no tears or rips.The wood is in excellent condition, with no holes or gouges. The chairs areexcellent examples of the fine craftsmanship and detailing from a past era, andhave great character and charm. They are being sold “as is”.
