You are looking atone of the most uniquely styled radios ever produced. These were shaped andsized in a very unusual manner, offering a very futuristic look to a Broadcastradio. The sophisticated chassis allows the addition of a standard phono with aconnection on the back. As you would expect, they were limited in the salesand, due to a fragile construction, most did not survive. This example happensto be a nice one. The cabinet shows only a minimum amount of wear with aperfect dial which was prone to curling. The speaker cloth is a good accurate replacement. The radio has beencompletely serviced by my friend, who has done a terrific job in hisrepairs and the radio is a very robust six-tube super-het.
