The tall ship model is designed exactly to scale as Lord Nelson\'s Flagship the original HMS Victory was with many details. Details of interest include ballast stones, wooden water & provisioncasks(barrels), detailed rigging with deadeyes & ratlines, the main-top or fighting top (crows nest), wooden inlaid decking, metal cannons and more. No plastic parts! The model rests on a solid wood base with a nameplate.The model measures12.25\" long fromsideto side, 35.25\" height and 4\" width. It\'s a historical ship model that will be a conversation piece for any room or office and is sure to become a treasured family heirloom.

The H.M.S. VICTORYwas launched on 7th May 1765. The Victory\'s fame was due to the fact that as dawn drew near on October 21, 1805, under the British flag, she took part in the momentousBattle of Trafalgar(where Horatio Nelson flew his famous signal \"England expects that every man will do his duty\")against Spain and completely defeated the Franco-Spanish fleet with her powerful cannons that can fire half a ton of iron shot more than a mile.She now rest at Portsmouth, England.The HMS Victory isthe oldest ship in the Royal Navyand is still a commissioned ship.
