DO NOTrely on an electronic tuner set at A440 to test tuning as the air temperatureaffects how the whistle will read tuning wise. If the air temperature isaround 68F then A 440 is fine. The higher the air temperature the higher yourtuner needs to be set and vice versa. As these whistles are totally handmade there may be signs of the materialhaving been worked; this in no way effects the playability but shows they arehandmade.As with all alloy or aluminium tubed whistles they require warming up beforeplaying in pitch. This is quite normal.
