Details:

• This heavy duty DH 26\" wheelset came off of an early full suspension Mountain Cycles San Andreas mountain bike from the late 1990\'s that only got ridden occasionally - and was stored in a garage all its life. The wheelset still looks and rides great. Both wheels spin true in my Park truing stand and are ready to ride. I\'ll describe the wheels, parts and conditions below:

• Rear wheel:
• 135mm spacing, Shimano XT FH-M737 hub, 36 hole 8 speed rim brake hub. The hub is laced in a three cross pattern with straight 14 gauge stainless steel spokes with brass nipples to a super beefy 30mm wide double wall alloy Sun Big Fat Mammoth rim. Schrader valve hole. I see a couple of very small dings to the rim from normal use, but they are small enough that I couldn\'t photograph them- and the wheel still runs true in my Park truing stand. See straight edge picture of the brake track, which shows almost no brake track wear. I\'ll note that this rim came from the factory with a concave rim brake track so the straight edge test here makes it look like there is a lot of brake track wear. Thehub bearings and freehub body bearings spin like new with no free play or grittiness. The 8 speed freehub body shows minimal/no wear on the HG splines- nothing that will catch a fingernail. Includes the factory silver XT QR skewer
  

• Front Wheel:
• 100mm spacing, Shimano XT HB-M737 hub, 36 hole rim brake hub. Note: The foil label is missing from this hub, but I can tell it is the XT 737 hub that matches the rear hub. The hub is laced in a three cross pattern with straight 14 gauge stainless steel spokes with brass nipples to a super beefy 30mm wide double wall alloy Sun Big Fat Mammoth rim. Schrader valve hole. Rim runs true in my Park truing stand with no dings or damage. See straight edge pictures of the brake track, which shows a small amount of track wear. I\'ll note that this rim came from the factory with a concave rim brake track so the straight edge test here makes it look like there is a lot of brake track wear. Thehub bearings spin like new with no free play or grittiness. Includes the factory silver XT QR skewer.
