Signal Cannon 1'' Bore 15'' Barrel Black Powder Civil War Reanactment :
Here is1'' bore black powder signal cannon. It appears to have some age and nice patinato it but is likely from the early 20th century not the civil war. It would however be a great piece for civil war or revolutionary war reanactors. To give you an idea of its size the fire place the photos are taken in in 7 feet wide. The cannon barrel measures 15'' long and 3 3/4'' in diameter at the breech The overall length with the carraige is 44''. We have fired this every year on new years eve at midnight and certainly is a crowd pleaser. It is louder than any fire work and has a very dramatic recoil and flame from the muzzle. It fires 200 grains of black powder in tin foil ''cartridges''with strips of a cotton t-shirt used as packing. I will provide a powder measure, ramrod anddetailed fireing instructions to the winning buyer.
THIS IS A NOISE MAKER IT DOES NOT FIRE BULLETS
