Simplicity Landlord 3210V / Sovereign 3212V Project withmower deck

This sale is for a Simplicity Landlord 3210V gardentractor that almost runs and a Simplicity Sovereign 3212V garden tractor to beused for parts. One mower deck is included. I acquired these in this condition.The red one had been sitting outside before I got it. They have been sittinguntouched in a garage with cement floor for about 10 years.

The 3210V is the better tractor. It has all original tires.The front tires hold air. The rear tires have slow leaks. The sheet metalappears to be original paint. Apparently the transmission has been changedbecause some of the mounting parts have Allis Chalmers color paint. The shifterlinkage has excessive slop because home-made extenders were added to theshifter fork (see close up picture). The transmission does shift into allgears. The variable speed pulley system has been replaced with a single speedpulley set and the variable speed parts (linkage, control lever) have beenremoved. The other tractor is included as a donor for these parts. It lookedlike it wouldn’t take much to get this one going so I bought a new budget coilthat appears to work but the plug wire just barely reaches the plug. I also putin new points, cleaned the carb and replaced the needle. I did not replace theseat because it is a pressed in type so it still leaks gas out of the carb. Theengine has good compression. It fires sometimes and runs enough to keep itselfgoing at slow speed but don’t gain speed when you give it gas so I can\'t really claim it runs. That’s all thetime I wanted to put into it.It didn’t have any bluesmoke. If you richened up the mixture it would put out a little black smokewhen you give it gas but still wouldn’t gain speed. A battery is not included withthis tractor.

The 3212V is a parts donor. It has been painted red. Thesheet metal is good. The engine is not locked up. It has a little bit ofcompression. The bolts at the angled gearbox came loose and at least one isbroken off so the tractor bends in the middle at that loose connection. Iassume that’s why it was retired. It was parked outside when I found it. The angledgearbox appears to be ok internally because I can turn the primary variablespeed pulley and see the driveshaft turn. The transmission shifts into allgears. The carburetor is removed but is included with the tractor. The carbfloat bowl casting has holes from corrosion. The top part of the carb is goodfor parts but the main jet is missing. The front tires will blow up but will goflat in 5 minutes, long enough to load it on your trailer. The rear tires andrims look good and have been holding air good.
