The machine still works very well. The bench matches and the cushion is original. The machine has been regularly oiled and greased. In 1991, the machine was completely serviced by the Singer Sewing Machine Co. in New Orleans and totally \"brought up to speed.\" This is a lovely machine, strong enough for the tough work and easy enough for \"quilting\".According to the Singer website, there were 5,000 allotted and the manufactured date was November 9, 1932.
