This sale features a set of 6 vintage cocktail glass tumblers in a smokey turmalin grey color made by Holmegaard in Copenhagen Denmark. Their simple, classic mid-century design was likely created by Per Lutken in the 1950s, although there is no signature or date on the glasses or the box, so I cannot be certain. They hold 4oz to the top rim and measure 2.75\" diameter and 2.5\" tall. According to the label the cups are intended for cocktails, but these glasses would be great wine tumblers or old-fashioned glasses too. They are in lovely vintage condition with no chips nor cracks and only a few small scratches, having been rarely used and stored in their original box. There are some swirls in the glass and pin dot bubbles from manufacture. The box is more like a folding cardboard carton and has some wear and areas of loss where a label was removed.
