This sale is for one Slant six large bore head gasket(contact me for discounts available if you want multiple). These gaskets have the correct size fire ring to be used on 170, 198, 225 & large bore 225 over bored engines. These are made in Australiaand are the best gaskets out there for cast iron slant sixes. The fire ring will suit bore sizes up to 3.66. These gaskets are roughly .040\" thick, which should yieldabout .035\" compressed thickness. These are a non-retorque style head gasket with a double dose of sealer to help seal water galleries. These Slant 6 head gaskets are more than suitable for standard stock type engines and performance slant 6 engines, including turbo and super charged Slant six engines running a respectableamountof boost(we don\'t guarantee a boost level due to the huge numbers of variables on each engine build, but we have customers running these in supercharged and turbo street/drag cars, and have yet to receivea single complaint on them). These are the head gaskets AussieSpeed runs on all of their slant six builds, including their recently completed roots blower kit(contact me for info).There are some more expensive head gaskets on the market in the US that are simplycut from a flat sheet of copper; they lack cylinder sealing capabilitycompared to theincorporatedfire rings in this gasket has, as well as the water jacket sealing these gaskets offer.Note: this gasket is not compatible with the aluminum block slant six motors, which use a completely different head gasket, that to the best of my knowledge is not being manufactured by anyone in the world right now, so find those NOS ones while you can(and find one for me too, as I would be interested in having a reproduction run made).
