How does it work?

The Solar Panel uses light from the sun to produce electricity. The Electricity produced by the Solar Panel safely charges the Battery via the Charge Controller. The Charge Controller ensures that your battery does not over charge and has an easy to read LED display that lets you know the charge status of your battery. The stored energy is converted into usable energy by the Inverter. The Inverter is packed with safety features and allows you to plug in your appliances/ accessories into 3 outlets and 2 USB ports. The Inverter also features an LED display to let you monitor the how much electricity you are using.

Can I use any Battery?

No. Many common batteries such as, car batteries, are not designed to be drained and recharged on a regular basis. A car battery would last only a few months for solar purposes, at best. A Deep Cycle Battery, however, is designed to be drained and charged regularly. Deep cycle batteries are common in golf carts and trolling motors because they can withstand rigorous use. So, as part of this Solar Power System we include a 12 Volt Deep Cycle Battery that requires no maintenance.

Can I add more Batteries?

Yes! You can add as many batteries as you like! However, as this is a portable generator, adding too many batteries will cut down on the ease of portability. *Be sure to refer to the included instruction manual when adding batteries.
