This is a wonderful addition to any system. It is a 10 band EQ for each channel with a built in preamp and all sorts of controls. These were made in the USA in 1978 and cost $550 back than - that is more than I was paying for my car in college back then! A few months back I had it serviced with all of the controls and switches cleaned and lubed so it plays great and all of the controls are quiet. You will not be disappointyed with the way this allows you to tune your music to your taste. It has been fully checked out and is guaranteed to arrive in undamaged condition and good working order. Don’t take a chance buying something that is sold “AS-IS” and has not been thoroughly checked out, when you can have something that is guaranteed to arrive in proper working condition for a few dollars more!
