A true antique Empire Period piece, great Americana in Museum Quality condition. American Empire Bookcase Secretary. This towering heirloom has a moulded cornice, cabinet with shelves and glass doors over a slant front secretary opening up to a new felt writing surface, pigeonholing and storage drawers. The bottom case has one hidden drawer and 2 more drawers with pulls all on bracket feet. We have seen several of these cabinets and this one probably has the finest flaming mahogany we have seen. It is in great antique condition with some wear. This piece is a very expensive item offered for a fraction of the cost.
