AntiqueNanduti lace tablecloth and 6 napkins - a very rare set, elaborate andfabulous! Early twentieth century. Gorgeous, gorgeous display pieces.

Nanduti is traditional Paraguayan lace, and comesfrom the word for"spider web". This isthe highest quality Nanduti lace, with detailed fillings and complicated patterns. Antique Nanduti lace of thisqualityis hard to find at the best of times, and almost impossible to findin a tablecloth set.You will not see anything like this again.

The tableclothmeasures approx 57 x 58inches, the napkins 9.5 inches square.

Condition is wonderful,very gently used, if at all. Unlaundered, stiff from starch. I note some some storage spots, fold lines, yellowing along one edge (second last photo). A tiny hole in the cloth, see last photo. These are allminor issues - this looks amazing!
