Was used with my VPI TNT and SME IV arm which I just sold.I had 2 of these cartridges and rotated them every 50 hours. When I sold my VPI a couple weeks ago, i sold it with one of these cartridges. Very low hours, my VPI was in a secondary system and seldom used. The 300 hour estimate is very conservative.
This is a Medium Output moving coil, which means in most cases, you will not need a Step Up device, it can be run with a built in phono stage.
Sounds fantastic. Retail back in its day was $1500.Comes with Original wood box. Box has a longer screw in it, to keep cartridge secure in storage and in shipping. No mounting screws, uses standard ones which can be found most anywhere.
