This isan extremely nice originalCaldwell Cub lawn mower. It wasmade in the 1930\'s and is in excellent used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It appears to be complete including the starting rope. Itis from the estate of an early air cooled engine collector where it was tucked away for decades. The engine turns over with good compression although I haven\'t tried to start it. It has the original cast iron bear crank case filler plug on it which is almost always missing! It has lots of original paint and pinstriping on itas can be seen! It has the original gas tank and radiator on it as well as thebrass serial tag and muffler. The only thing that appears non original on this unit is the paint on thefront two caster wheels.It would be pretty easy to unrestore these to match the rest of the unit.This is a fantastic display piece for yourearlylawn mower or machinery collection Completemowerslike this hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets anymore so if you\'ve been looking for one don\'t miss this one. The pictures tell the story. It would certainly be tough to find a nicer original than this one!
