During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the early period of the 19th century.

Dates about c1820.

Of a Black Forest origin.

Superb intricate relief carving with:

centrally, the superbly intricate carving of the Lion of Lucerne.

Text above with a date in roman numerals below.

Other intricate carvings around the edge of the panel.

It hasan overall sizeof about 9.5 x 7inches.

Max depth of about 1inch.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent andis not subject to any major blemishes except:

minor chipping/rubbing around the edge of the panel.
