The chime sounds wonderful (each quarter hour) and there is a gong for each hour (number of strikes shows the hour).

Case is solid wood (OAK), Ornamented Glass,

a showpiece by itself.

This clock is inEXCELLENT condition - just amazing. No scratches , original finish, clock works perfect. The face isin very good condition- no discoloration .

After 8 days, it still showed the exact time !

Impressive size as well!!
