Heavy field coat, weighs 10 pounds approx, has heavy canvas shell, sheep shirling lining, all buttons are present, some button holes have leather reinforcement, buttons on coat closure have leather reinforcement. dimensions arepit to pit = 24 inches.total length = 43 inches.sleeve to pit = 17.5 inches.sleeve to shoulder = 27 inches.shoulder to collar= 7 inches.bottom of coat = 29.75 inches.fur collar= 7 inches wide, with 15 inches from side to side when buttoned up.Outer pockets = 12 inches X 12 inches with a 4 inch cover.
Heavy canvas shell, sheep skin shearling lining, and all button holes look pristine, no wear what so ever. It looks like the coat was hung in a quartermaster hut 80+ years ago and never touched. please note all buttons (bakelite), and metal collar keeper have surface oxidation.
