This design is said to be a major influence for the Cox Conquest and precedes it with an earlier introductionYou can drop in Cox piston/sleeves assemblies and Rossi piston/sleeve assemblies to!They\'ve been used in R/C 1/4 Midget pylon racing, Control line Goodyear and rat classesThere\'s no doubt they just look right.
Want to use it for control line?No problem, I\'ll include a genuine venturi.This example hasn\'t done a lot of work and is in very nice condition. The piston sleeve fit is very good indeed. The head anodising is in excellent condition, no scratches or grazes. The cylinder head screws haven\'t been rounded out. There are some washer witness mark on the top of the lugs. The mounting holes are the original size and haven\'t been tampered with.The engine is 100% original apart from the obvious Cox Conquest muffler assembly
The shaft fit is nice and free as you\'d expect from a twin BB set up.
It will make a perfect control line engine by simply replacing the carb with a venturi and nva.
Altogether a very nice example from the Australian master of engines Gordon Burford
