I am a custom home builder, we have a few pieces of equipment, mostly Takeuchi andregrettablyone Thomas Loader. I had a nice TB035 Turbo Excavator that needed some work and someone suggested I call a repair guy / equipment seller from Sylva N.C. I was happy the \"Equipment Repair Guy\", and I use thatphrasevery loosely came and got my machine and brought it back to his shop. After awhile he called and \"claimed\" my machine needed a bunch of work and would cost 4-5k to repair. He further claimed he had a great \"JOB READY\" machine with a brand new rebuilt engine and new tracks, and why don\'t I just trade my machine and 6k for this AWESOME great running unit, as he claimed it should last me a decade or more considering we don\'t use it that much.
SO after some haggling I agreed to trade my machine and my hard earned cash for his \"JOB READY\" awesome great running no issue, use it a decade machine. So me being the trusting hard working honest person I ambelievedhe would bring a good machine. So he drops off this unit you see here for sale on to my jobsite.
I look over the machine and notice it needs a new bucket, and my machine had a new bucket I just gave to him, he says no worries I will bring you your bucket next week and swap them, I then noticethisunithas no fuel cap, again no worries I\'ll bring you the cap from your great running machine next week he says, we also negotiated a hydraulic thumb as I required one for the work I do, you guessed right he is bringing me one next week, no worries. Now the big LIE is about to be told ! I notice the machine is smoking a white smoke and it certainly is a concern, he says it just got out of the shop and you need to run her hard for about 20 hours and get those valves seated and her broken in.
So not being too gullible I go google\" break-in for diesels smoking\" and do find a few post mentioning some smoke during break-in period. Oh I almost forgot this part, my friend a few mile down the road has many, many pieces of equipment and mechanics working on his stuff daily, this guy tells me \" I do all the work for \"******\" your buddy down the road, so I figure he must be a good mechanic, and if he\'s just down the road I know where to find him. Well well what a BIG LIAR , he never comes back to fix myexcavatoror bring the parts, many broken promises, then a lot of choice words and nae calling because of my impatience with a machine that STOPPED RUNNING WITHIN AN HOUR OF US USING IT, so it sits right smacj in the middle of our basement excavation...runs but no power after warm up. So I go see my friend down the road who knows everybody, and NOBODY screws him over, and I ask about Mr. Honest Equipment Repair Person From Sylva N.C. , you know the guy who works on yourequipmentevery week, he looks puzzled and then startts laughing and says I would never let him touch a piece of my equipment, and if you could get every person he\'s ever screwd over selling equipment to you\'d fill the courtroom.
End of that story, after months of listening to his pitiful excuses I have a machine that does NOT HAVE A REBUILT ENGINE......IT NEEDS A REBUILT ENGINE...........it is a Yanmar 3tne88 , you could rebuild it, parts for the entire rebuild are $ 599.99 right here on .
I can load at this end , it is sold AS-IS no promise other than it will start, won\'t run long, the hydraulics seem to operate however it would make a great parts machine, or a project for one lucky buyer.
Please no SCAMS, already got burned once on this. It does not leave the yard until full payment is received...
