TA TBM-3 radiation detector, Geiger counter. Works just fine, measured a Fiestaware plate at about 9000 cpm which is what my Ludlum Model 3 w/pancake probe reads on the same plate. Has a new 9 volt battery in it and also the technical sheet that came with it including schematics. The pancake GM tube inside (7311) is the same as what the Ludlum 44-9 pancake probe uses and sells for over $100 by itself. Has X1, X10 and X100 scales. Has speaker also. Very sensitive. Detects Alpha, Beta, Gamma and X-Ray radiation. I compare it to a Ludlum 3-90 Survey meter but this TA TBM-3 is smaller and much lighter. Will ship in medium flat-rate USPS 2-Day priority mail.
