This is a very nice vintage TEAC A2300S reel to reel tape recorder. Selling for my brother-in-law, who purchased this new many years ago. I cleaned the heads and tape path. I don't have ready access to test equipment, but did do a quick check of essential functions. Playback and record seem to be working well on both 3 3/4 ips and 7 1/2 ips speeds. On a quick listen, it sounded good. Meters are working. I don't have microphones on hand, so was unable to test the microphone inputs - pretty sure he never used them. But it would be surprising if they weren't working as well. Unit comes with correct power cord, take-up reel, some rubber risers (not sure what those are for) a spool of splicing tape (no idea what condition of the adhesive is, so probably not useful) and a spare fuse. No manual. It comes with original box and packing. This unit is more than 40 years old, so sold as is - no returns, only guarantee is that it will arrive with line input recording and playback working. I will pack and ship in the original box and packing. Buyer to pay shipping cost as estimated by . Shipping to US address only for this item.
