Thisis a handmade custom-made replacement test lead for mostmodels of Hickok tube testers.It is needed to test tubes with a top capfor the grid or plate connection.
Many testers have lost this lead, making it impossible to test tubeswith top caps. This lead works with Hickok 532, 533, 539A/B/C, 600, 600A, 750,752, 800 andmany others.
Theplug is 3/32” dia.(.0938\").Hickok used a proprietaryplug and jack. It is larger thana standard tip plug.Itissamesizeas the pins of an octal tube. I custom fabricate these plugs. This is what will be shipped unless you specify otherwise.
Some TV-7A/U and TV-7D/U testers use asmaller .080\"plug (approx. 5/64”).This is called a \"tip plug\". I havethose available also. If you are ordering for a TV/7,please verify which plug you need.

My test lead uses an alligator clip that fitsall sizes of tube caps.
The cable isBeldenheavy duty 18 Gauge, very flexible,finely stranded rubber insulated test prod wire rated for 5kV. The clipis American made, by Mueller, and hasavinyl insulator.
The leadsare 10\" long, whichshouldfit any tester. Longer leads may be custom ordered. The wire is$1.10/ft. I do not recommend longer leads due to the possibility ofoscillation, which causes false readings.
This listing is for one lead. I make thesein both Red and Black. Youneed only one. Some tubes have two top caps, but you arenot likely to encounter them. This lead is made to last a lifetime. You mayspecify color if you wish.
