Hand Painted Nursery Rhyme and hand carved WOOD WHEELS! 1930\'s - 40\'s Thomas Edison Little Folks Crib! What a true find! This sweet crib is in fabulous vintage condition and would be so fun to re-purpose as two benches, or used as a doll crib or home decor. It does not meet the current safety conditions for an actual baby crib so please do not consider it safe for your baby, but what a very pretty piece of furniture to re-purpose for your nursery!

• The backs measure 41\" tall x 30\" wide.
• The crib rails and springs measure 51\" long by 25\" wide.
• The distance between the rails is approximately 3.25\"
• The rails are 1.75 inches wide.
• Hardware is included ( I am not sure if it\'s original or complete)
• Original hand carved WOOD wheels ~ so cool!
• Hand painted Nursery Rhyme Titles: on the front piece: Jack be nimble, Little Miss Muffet, On the back piece: Little Bo Peep.
• This set has been very well stored and cared for!
• There are scratches, dings, rubbing/fading of paint, hairline cracks/splits in wood, rust to the springs etc. But honestly, if you\'ve seen much furniture from this era I think you will be impressed with it\'s quality and the antique condition it is in. It comes from an original owner and was stored inside her home for decades.
• Please note that there is a glare coming in from my windows creating 2 bright spots on the photo. This is not a flaw within the furniture.

Fun Facts about this furniture:
It was made by Thomas A Edison Wood Products Company between 1929 – 1937. I did a little research and discovered that Thomas Edison added handmade wood baby furniture to his existing wood phonograph business in 1929 with the hope of maintaining his staff when the depression hit after WWI.
