so it saw very limited use ... Why This Computer Has Value …
computer will only go up in value. TS 2068 was one of the first PCs and
computers made for home use in the U.S.. Back in the early 1980s, there were
only a hand full of computers that were initially made for home use IBM, DEC,
Radio Shack, Commodore 64. While the others cost $700 to several thousand
dollars to buy, Timex offered the U.S consumer the option of getting a home PC
for $199, with low cost games and software for word processing, spreadsheets,
databases, programming, and even CAD. Even though this computer offered superior
features and was faster than the others, all programs had to be loaded using
tape (very cumbersome) thus resulting in its early demise. Timex Computer
Company closed in 1984. If you have any questions, please feel free to
ask. I am happy to answer your questions ... I welcome input from
interested buyers on the TS2068. Prompt Response Guaranteed !!!
