MINT condition, Mighty Tonka Shovel in Lime Green.
Made in the early 1970\'s with the steel bumper and rubber stops in front.
I am simply not interested in the next series of Mighty Trucks with the Plastic Front.
These Shovel toys were meant to be played with hard: the child would grab the shovel handle, scoop up the dirt, sand,etc and turn the shovel section around then slide the release lever to open the bottom of the shovel bucket to dump contents into the Mighty Dump Truck or just on the ground. This rough action is why most Shovel\'s back section wobbles from side to side and forwards and backwards when rotating within it\'s 360 degree range.
HOWEVER, in contrast, because my Shovel is MINT the back section that the black shovel is attached to swivels perfectly due to it\'s original sturdy unplayed with condition.
I have the Tonka Shovel wrapped in the original MINT box to prevent rubbing and the box is stored in a dark place away from light.
Oh yes, the original Tonka Look Book is included.
I totally realize that this Tonka was not made in the 1950\'s or 60\'s but time becomes history and you may regret not offerding.
