TooToo riders as young as 22 months of age can now securely plant their feet flat on the ground and begin their two-wheeled journey. Rear V-brakes are standard equipment, so slowing and stopping are easy to manage. The lightweight handlebar and stem is unitized and powdercoated. Frame and fork are connected with a real bearing headset meaning that TooToo can safely handle rough surfaces like a real bicycle. The saddle is redesigned and shaped for rider comfort and stability. Handgrips have been given a handsome new design and the tires have been upgraded to KENDA Kontact for better performance and very sharp looks. The TooToo has a frame and fork made from high tensile steel that will not flex, twist or deform under load. (Weight limit is 132 pounds!) As one of the lightest balance bikes available (only 8 pounds!), children easily handle the TooToo and master the fundamentals of balance, cornering and steering without stress or difficulty. -Successful balance bike riding is directly related to the frequency and duration of practice that children engage in. The more children ride, the faster they will become skillful and the longer they will retain said skills. There to four sessions of 30-60 minutes are recommended to optimize advancement.
