You are buying one four leaf cloverplant growing in a Leprechaun's pot with Irish soil. It isa true "trifolium repens" white clover that has been grown in Irish soil. These plants for some reason grow more four leaf clovers than normal and sometimes even a five or sixleaf clover. The wild clovers grow one four leaf to every 10,000 three leaf clovers. These plants grow one four leaf clover to about every 100 three leaf clover. Sometimesone four leaf clover for every ten three leaf clovers. This plant will occassionally grow a five or six leaf clover.

They are growing in a Leprechaun's Pot O' Gold that is 2 1/2" by 2 1/4". This Four Leaf Clover plant is growing in Irish soil. Included are growing instructions and leaf drying instructions.

The plant may show some sign of stress but that is natural in shipping a live plant and these are very hardy plants. I ship them in bubble wrap inside a heavy cardboard shipping tube. I have shipped them all over the US in inclement weather and have not yet had a complaint. Other than one person saying the plant arrived stressed but bounced back as soon as it had water and sunlight. Q: how long does the clover live,and how tall does it get. I love this idea. Feb-11-09 A: 1. The life of this clover plant depends on the care that you give it. Follow the care instructions that come with it and you should have this plant for many years. Be aware that these plants are a protected species and cannot be commercially grown without a license. 2. The height of these plants depends on the amount of direct sunlight they receive. The more sun the shorter the plants. They get leggy (about 5" to 6" tall with indirect sunlight). 3. I have kept one in the original Leprechaun pot for nearly a year without transplanting and it did very well. I only had to cut away the old leaves. 4. The plant is very tough and can handle a lot of stress and bounce back very quickly. I just recovered one from a relative that tried to keep one in an inside office with no sun and it got very puny. I fertilized it and gave it direct sun and now it is growing new leaves and is very healthy. I am currently testing a new grow light that plugs into your computer. I will offer them for sale if it works in my relatives office.
