Selling two Bennett model 541 gas pumps. Pumps are branded in Conoco N tane and Premium. . These pumps were in operation from 1940 until 1975 when theywere removed from service and stored in a warehouse. The pumps as you can see from the pictures are complete with hoses, nozzles and all the internal pumps and motors. One pump is missing the Bennett logo and one of the pump faces is discolored but both parts are available from Vics. I do not have the keys to the access door locks but the locks can be bought for around $10. As pictured one of the Ntane ad glasses has a crack in it. These pumps are dent free and rust free. The darker colored pump was painted red on one side, the other is still white, and is oxidized there is very MINOR surface scale on one side. The serial numbers are 9 digits off #23 and #32. Jack Sims price list for unrestored 541s in average condition is $750. Here is a chance to buy a pair with original ad glass on all four corners. These pumps need only to be stripped, primed and painted. There is no body work to do. The pumps are located in Fayetteville, Texas 60 miles from Austin, 120 miles from San Antonio and 90 miles from Houston. They are heavy but will lie down in a pick-up bed. I wont split the pair as they have been together for so long, but the new buyer can sell one off if he only wants one. I can hold the pumps for up to a month if needed. There is absolutley no shipping due to the weight. You may e-mail me with any questions, but the pictures speak for themselves. Thanks for looking.
Added 6-27:I addeda close up of the front of the red colored pump after a few minutes with some sandpaper, the metal under the surface is clean with no pits. The other shot is the inside showing the lighting, the switch lever is there also. i have received questions on shipping andI just cant ship them.I have been asked about removing the pumps and motors and after looking at themI will leave that up to the new owner as to how he wants to remove them.
Added 6-27: Will list a Southwest model 70 restored in Texacoto if anyones interested, e-mail me. I also have a 6ft Sinclair fiberglass dino if there is someone looking for one I can list it also. With all the interest in the sale price Ihave put a very realisticbuy it now on this item, remember once the offerding starts the buy it now disappears.
