This UHER 4000 Report Monitor Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder looks to be in good condition but has not been used for many years. I plugged in the unit (here in the U.S.) and pressed the “record” button, and as you can see in the photo here, the green “power” light lit up— indicating that the unit was able to power up via the internal battery and the AC cable—and the red “record” light lit up. Also, the buttons and reels appeared to function/move properly when I pressed the rewind, start (play), stop and forward buttons and the tape door functioned fine when it was opened and closed. However, as I am not at all knowledgeable about this item and it’s accessories and don’t have a reel of tape with which to test it, this lot is being sold here untested and as-is.This lot includes all actual items pictured in this listing’s photos and nothing more:- UHER 4000 Report Monitor Reel-to-Reel Tape Recorder w/ removable handle and internal AC-connected battery
