This is a large scale model of the aircraft flown by Lt. Roscoe C. Brown Jr.
Lt. Roscoe Brown became one of the first Army Air Force pilots to shoot down one of the (then) new German Me 262 jets!
The Red Tail Mustangs of the 332nd Fighter Group, 100th Fighter Squadron would claim a total of three Me 262 jet "Kills" during a B-17 bomber escort mission, March 24th,1945 earning them the Presidential Unit Citation!

Model has been inspected for manufacture's defects and None were Found.This model is about as good as it gets, Near Perfect!It was packed away the same day it was received from Bad Cat Toys, in 2005 until now.Box and clear plastic window shows No signs of fading or shelf wear, like New.
