PRODUCT OVERVIEW

This is an ultra low noise RF amplifier that provides excellent gain and noise figure. The LNA can be used in a number of different receiver applications such as Ham Radio, TV reception, etc.and the USB power supply means you can power it off your laptop. The noise figure of this LNA is only 0.65 dB at 100 MHz. The LNA includes pads for external power.

Also included is an ESD protection diode at the input and a built-in Bias Tee feature. The Bias Tee is installed and a voltage greater than +4 VDC is required on the RF line. When powering the device using a bias tee, the device should not be powered using the USB supply or DC pads.

Please note that the Bias Tee is installed. So if you power the device using either the DC header or the USB connector, +5 VDC will appear on the RF output. If your receiver does not have a DC blocking capacitor on its input or some other form of DC voltage protection, this voltage can damage your receiver.
