This sale is for a unique Prototype Bavarian Beer Mug. This was made for the Bavarian Brewing Company of Covington, Kentucky. This design had the Dark Brown Finish, The word, \" BEER \" and the pronounce raised logo.
The brewery went with the \" Old Style \" Design in a much lighter finish. I have seen hundreds of these. I acquired this mug from the estate of a man that worked at the brewery about 20 years ago.. This is a beautiful mug and have always wondered why this design was not chosen. This is the only one I know to exist. It retains it\'s original production sticker from The Nelson McCoy Pottery Company. The mug is about 5 inches tall and 4 3/4 inches wide, which includes the handle. It is about 3 inches wide across the top.
