This is a truly unique piece of vintage ceramic pottery made in Portugal. This covered bottle or jar features two warriors or tribesman guarding the opening. It stands approx. 7-1/4\" tall at the tallest point and the opening measures about 1\" in diameter. The blue and white design goes all the way around. The bottom is marked: \"AB, Cantao, Barreira, Condeixa, Hand-painted, Portugal\" (as near as I can figure).This unique item is in excellent pre-owned condition with just minor wear to the bottom.I have a second piece with similar markings listed, so please check out my other items.
