For sale here is a great looking named heavy wool US WW1 Officer’s Uniform Coat. The coat does not have any rank insignia or patches, but does have the U.S. devices on the collars. The coat does have some scattered mothing, but this is mostly limited to the bottom right of the coat and some to the interior liner. The coat is a four pocket front type with a 5 button closure. All of the buttons, with the exception of the center closure button are present and they appear to be an early bakelite material and are unmarked. The coat has a great look to it and is made of a nice material. The coat has one slash pocket on the interior right of the coat. There is no tailors tag or makers labels anywhere in the coat. The coat is named in the neck of the coat, but I cannot make it out. I have enclosed pictures for you to decide. This is a great looking uniform coat that will go great in any collection.
