new old stock, made by seafarer in usa, i guess is 60\'s by the silver color, nickel talon zipper. this is not a reproduction, but is also not issued, was made i believe as a substitute pair of pants the sea man could buy at the local army/navy store(many existed then),to replace the issued garment, but not pay as much as they would have to for the issued one. fabric is \"wash and wear\" a hi tech fabric at that time. fabric is 55% dacron 45% orlon original hang tag is on. make and tailoring is not like they make pants usual today. the waistband is as a dress pant consturcition and there is fabric there, to be able to let the garment out an inch or so if wanted(also usual at this time. flat front ,no pleats. 2 on seam front pockets, 2 back slit pockets one with a button that closes. waistband and belt loops are 2\" , single needle construction(expensive make). from top of waist to bottom of crotch =12.5\". pant leg opening at bottom, around is 17\". inseam is stated as 36 \" hand measured it is 36\".,unfinished bottom, so can hem as desired. each pant is the same shade of khaki, but there can be if more than one pair to a size, slight difference in the shade of khakis pant by pant.. all where acceptable to us navy, if i did not tell you, you would probably not know. rare find, great item!
